Tell us about the proposal: While on a beach vacation on 30A, Jared popped the question! Jared took me to my favorite restaurant in Alys Beach and asked if I’d go watch the sunset with him afterward. It was so beautiful on the beach and while I thought in my head how perfect of a time it would be for him to propose, I didn’t think it was going to happen then. Jared caught me by surprise when he asked me to marry him! It was the perfect moment!
Describe your wedding dress: I got my wedding dress from Grace Loves Lace in Nashville, Tenn. After trying on what felt like hundreds of dresses, I instantly knew this dress was the one when I tried it on. It was elegant, and stunning, and I felt like it was made for me. The fabric was made out of a stretch crepe material, which made the dress super comfortable. At the end of the night, I changed into a gorgeous sparkly wedding dress from Olivia Bottega.
Favorite wedding details: Instead of doing a first look, Jared and I did a first touch and prayer together – this was my favorite wedding detail! We were separated by a wall and were able to hold hands, exchange private vows and pray with each other before the ceremony.
What you’re doing now: Jared and I are still living in Oxford, and we are loving it! While working with Ole Miss FCA, Jared got the opportunity to become the Ole Miss football team chaplain. We are so blessed! We look forward to staying in Oxford and seeing where life takes us.
