Channing and Reagan Davis

Tell us about the proposal: Rea said he wanted to go check out Phi Mu Fountain because there was an engraving of a former Southern Miss SAE (Reagan’s school and fraternity) and an Ole Miss Phi Mu (my school and sorority) who had donated money to the fountain. Little did I know, my sister was hiding in the bushes at Bondurant Hall and captured Reagan getting down on one knee and asking me to marry him in front of Phi Mu Fountain. The Paris-Yates Chapel bells rang and I was just so excited – I couldn’t stop smiling! It was a surprise because I didn’t think we would be engaged until later that spring. We went to dinner at Oxford Grillehouse afterward and then met up with friends and family at the Coop for cake and drinks to celebrate my birthday and our engagement!

Describe your wedding dress: My dress truly felt like Hollywood glam meets Cinderella. I felt like a princess, but also timeless.

Favorite moment from your big day: I will never forget walking down the aisle and knowing that it was finally time to marry Reagan. While Rea was overwhelmed with tears, I couldn’t help but smile because I was so giddy and ready to be each other’s, forever!

Favorite wedding details: My custom toile tablecloths featured places that were and still are special to Reagan and me. My mom had the pattern made into fabric for a couple of tablecloths at the wedding. She also made sure we were given the extra fabric to be made into pillows and other accents for our home.
