How did you two meet? We met at Ole Miss. The first time we met was at the Ivy League Spring Party our freshman year. Our first date was at a Phi Delta Theta Date Party at the beginning of our sophomore year.

Tell us about the proposal: Walt proposed on his family’s farm outside Greenwood, in Minter City. Walt told me he needed to stop by the farm to grab a “weed eater” for his dad on the way to dinner. He pulled over at a secluded meadow on the farm and got down on one knee. Then we drove to Oxford where all of our family and friends were waiting for us at an Airbnb off the Square. We celebrated all night long.

Describe your wedding dress: My wedding dress is a strapless sweetheart neckline and ballgown silhouette. The fabric for the entire dress is very delicate handmade lace. I fell in love with the antique look of the lace and the princess ball gown felt very fitting for me.
