Why do you think you were chosen as one of Oxford’s Top 20 Under 40?
I think I was chosen because of my passion for this community and my ability to inspire and motivate others. I’m originally from Texas, but after graduating from Ole Miss I knew Oxford was where I wanted to stay. Over the years, it has become my home. My heart has always been in serving others, and I feel grateful that I get to do that in a place I love.

Tell us about your work and what excites you most about it.
Honestly, the thing that excites me most about work is the people and the relationships we build with our customers. Working at a community bank gives me the chance to know our customers personally, understand their goals, and help them grow their businesses. It’s inspiring to know that the work I do contributes to something bigger than myself and that every day brings an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

What’s an accomplishment you’re especially proud of?
I’m proud of finishing my Master of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi while working full-time, which taught me discipline and perseverance.

How has Oxford influenced your journey, and how do you hope to give back?
Though I’m originally from Texas, Oxford became home the moment I decided to stay after graduating from Ole Miss. The community here is warm, welcoming, and full of people who inspire me every day. Oxford has shaped me in countless ways: personally, professionally, and in how I view the importance of giving back. I hope to continue to contribute to the community that has given me so much.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our dog. I enjoy traveling to new places, going back to visit our families in Texas, and making memories with friends. I try to make the most of every moment with the people (and pup!) I love most.
