How did you two meet? We met at our high school, Kirk Academy, in 2018 when I was a sophomore and he was a junior. We didn’t start dating until college, though.
Tell us about the proposal: Last November, Jake drove me to my parents’ house for a dinner we had planned for that evening. When we pulled up, he took the road out to my dad’s shop instead of the driveway. Behind the shop, there was an arch that was lit up with candles. It was perfect!
Describe your wedding dress: I loved my dress!! It was a ballgown fit with lots of tulle. It had tiny pearls sewn into the bodice to match the pearls on my veil.
Favorite moment from your big day: My favorite moment definitely was immediately after the ceremony when I finally got to hug Jake and just take it all in with him for the first time because we chose not to do a first look.
Favorite wedding details: We got married on my late uncle’s birthday, so we had a birthday cake for him as well – red velvet because that was his favorite!
