Grace and Christian Shupe
How did you two meet? We were set up on a date by mutual friends in Nashville.
Tell us about the proposal: Christian asked me to be a part of their family photos in June. We showed up to one of the most beautiful places in Nashville called Percy Warner Park and there was a picnic set up in a green space. Christian asked to marry me, and then we celebrated with friends and family after!
Describe your wedding dress: I fell in love with my dress from the moment I put it on. It was simple, elegant and classy! It was everything I wanted and more. I’ve always loved a strapless fitted gown, and it was a fully laced dress.
Favorite moment from your big day: It is hard to pick one! Our ceremony was so special, from the beautiful music, to serving communion and worshiping the Lord. It was everything we hoped for and more.
Favorite wedding details: During our ceremony, we had an antique family heirloom Bible brought down the aisle. In my bouquet, I carried a brooch that belonged to my late grandmother. And we got married in the church where my parents, grandparents and many other family members have been married.
What you’re doing now: I work as a hairstylist in Nashville at a wonderful salon called Parlour 3. Christian is in pool construction and works for his family-owned company, Patriot Pools.
